In the midst of her fleeting life, Princess Kaguya learns of love.

A story based on "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" will be performed by high school and university student theater troupe members.

◆ Synopsis
And so the daughter of the moon fell to Earth, and this is the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.

One of the Moon Sisters, Mochizuki, angered the Emperor of Heaven because she possessed a "heart," and was banished to the mortal world. Her spirit sisters inhabited many bamboo stalks, and one day, when the bamboo cutter cut down one of them, he found Princess Kaguya.
Having experienced love for the first time on Earth, Princess Kaguya cherishes her life here. However, this sentiment creates rifts and conflicts among the moon sisters who care for her. And the time for her return from the moon is drawing ever closer...
