OTA Art Project Magome Writers' Village Fantasy Theater Festival 2021 ~ Theatrical performances & talk events

A theater performance by Yamanote Jijosha, a theater company based in Ota Ward, and a talk event with special guests are held.
We will also introduce the contents of this year's fantasy theater festival.

Yukiko Seike (manga artist)

Mie Muraoka (English literary and translator)

Completed the first half of the doctoral course at Japan Women's University Graduate School.Engaged in the management and research of the works of his grandmother Hanako Muraoka with her sister Eri Muraoka, and was involved in the planning of the "Hanako Muraoka Exhibition Corner" in Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin.We will also work to promote friendly relations between Japan and Canada.Translations include "Ann's Memories of Days" (Shincho Bunko, 2012), "Prince and Kojiki" (Gakken Plus, 2016), "Hilda-san and 3 Bikinokozaru" (Tokuma Shoten, 2017), "Hibike I" No Utagoe ”(Fukuinkan Shoten, 2021). In 2008, he worked as a supplementary translation for Hanako Muraoka's "Anne of Green Gables" series (Shincho Bunko).

Eri Muraoka (writer)

Graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Letters, Seijo University.After working as a journalist, engaged in the management and research of materials and collections of grandmother Hanako Muraoka with her sister, Mie Muraoka.We will also work to promote friendly relations between Japan and Canada.The book "Ann's Cradle-The Life of Hanako Muraoka-" (Magazine House, 2008 / Shinchosha [Bunko], 2011) is the original draft of the 2014 NHK morning serial TV novel "Hanako to Anne".Other books include "Hugging Anne" (picture by Seizo Watase / NHK Publishing, 2014), and edited by "Hanako Muraoka and the World of Red-haired Anne" (Kawade Shobo Shinsha, 2013).His recent book is "The Last Dance is Tokiko Iwatani's Story" (Kobunsha, 2019), which depicts the life of the lyricist Tokiko Iwatani.
