Profile

Yu Hosaki (bassoon)

Completed the doctoral course at the Graduate School of Music, Tokyo College of Music as the valedictorian (received a special scholarship for the entire period of enrollment). Her research in the doctoral course was recognized as highly academic, and she received the Excellence Award, making her the first bassoonist in Japan to receive a Ph.D. After that, he studied under specially appointed professor Kazutani Mizutani as a special scholarship recipient of the artist diploma course at the same university. During her studies, she studied abroad in Berlin as a scholarship recipient from the Segi Art Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Association. She won first place and audience award at the 21st Tokyo Music Competition, and second place at the 1st Takarazuka Vega Music Competition. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and is also active as a chamber music and orchestral player.

Naoko Endo (piano)

After studying at Tokyo Metropolitan High School of Arts, Department of Music, graduated from Toho Gakuen University's Department of Music, and completed graduate school at the same university. Upon completing his studies, he became a contract accompanist at the same university, and since 2006 has also served as an assistant accompanist at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has been the official pianist of the 2005 International Clarinet Fest, performed with David Pyatt and other members of the London Symphony Orchestra at the British Embassy, ​​and toured China with YAMAHA artists. He has performed many times with his family. In 2018, he held a recital in Seoul with Korea's leading horn player Kim Hongpark, and also served as the official pianist of the Asian Horn Festival. Currently, he is a contract performer at Toho Gakuen University, official accompanist of Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy, artist participating in the NPO Music Sharing (Chairman Midori Goshima) visit program, and official accompanist of Jeju International Brass Competition.

Toshihiko Uraku (MC/Composition)

Writer, cultural and artistic producer. He is a representative director of the Europe-Japan Art Foundation, head of Daikanyama Mirai Ongaku Juku, and an educational advisor to the Aichi Prefectural Board of Education. In March 2021, he won the 3th Keizo Saji Award from the Suntory Arts Foundation for the Gifu Future Music Exhibition 2020, which he planned as the music director of Salamanca Hall. His books include ``20 Billion Years of Music History'' (Kodansha), ``Why did Franz Liszt make women faint?'', ``The Violinist Who Was Called the Devil'', ``Beethoven and the Japanese'' (Shinchosha), and ``Orchestra''. Is there a future for ? (co-authored with conductor Kazuki Yamada)” (Artes Publishing), etc. The latest publication is ``Liberal Arts: Become a wise person through play'' (Shueisha International).
