Theatrical company Yamanote Jijosha

Founded in 1984 from the Waseda University Theater Research Society. Since then, they have consistently pursued "what only theater can do" by creating experimental plays. In 1993 and 1994, they participated in the Shimomaruko Theater Festa, and have developed into a performing arts group representing contemporary theater. Since 1997, they have been working on a style of acting called "Yonjohan" that expresses modern people through restricted movements, and in recent years have performed overseas many times. In 2013, they moved their dedicated rehearsal space and office to Ota Ward. They also actively collaborate with the local community. Their representative works include "The Tempest," "Titus Andronicus," "Oedipus Rex," "Dojoji," and "Kyosei Hangonko."

All the people in this country are dwarfs, and are frightened of the giant-like Gulliver, so they tie him up with ropes.

Hansel and Gretel《Synopsis》

In a certain forest, a poor woodcutter and his wife and their two children, Hansel and Gretel, lived. Unable to return home, the brother and sister were delighted when they discovered a gingerbread house...
