Hiroyuki Mito (Conductor)
Born in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. Graduated from the Department of Composition and Conducting (Conducting) at Tokyo College of Music. Has performed as a guest with Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Chubu Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, etc. In February 2023, he made his opera debut by conducting La Bohème at Shimane Prefectural Opera 2. He has also performed as a choral conductor with the Tokyo Philharmonic Chorus and the New National Theatre Chorus, and has conducted the choral conductor at the choral conductor's regular concerts as well as many opera performances. Ena Uotani (piano)
Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, Faculty of Music. While studying abroad, he studied at the Mozarteum Conservatory in Salzburg, and after graduating from the university, he continued to study under the renowned teacher, the late Hans Leygraf. He won third place in the Brahms International Competition in 2006. He has performed solo recitals in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as in various concerts across Japan, Taiwan, and Korea, including on NHK-BS Hi-Vision's "Piano no Pia," NHK-FM's "Masterpiece Recital," and the Takefu International Music Festival. He is currently actively involved in teaching, while also performing a wide range of activities including piano solos, chamber music, instrumental and vocal accompaniment. He is a part-time lecturer at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.
Tomotake Seki (special guest violin)
At the 20th International Khachaturian Violin Competition (Armenia), she won first place and two special prizes in the violin category, becoming the first Japanese to do so. She won second place and two special prizes at the Bartók International Competition 2 (Hungary). She won unanimous votes in all rounds at the 2023st Grünewald International Competition (Berlin). She won first place in the string category at the 2th Tokyo Music Competition. She has performed with various orchestras both in Japan and abroad, including the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Armenian National Symphony Orchestra. She plays the Francesco Ruggieri instrument, specially loaned to her by Nippon Violin Co., Ltd. She is a Meigakudo Support Artist for 2.
Tokyo Mixed Chorus (Chorus)
Founded in 1956, this is one of Japan's leading professional choirs. With concerts at the center of its performance activities, the choir is committed to developing and popularizing a wide range of choral works. With regular concerts in Tokyo and Osaka at its core, the choir performs over 150 times a year, including overseas performances. Its repertoire covers all choral genres, from classical to contemporary works, both domestic and international, including over 250 pieces that have been created through the commissioned compositions it has been commissioning since its founding.
