Daichi Deguchi (conductor)

He is the first Japanese to win the conducting category of the 17th Khachaturian International Competition. He won the highest award and the orchestra special prize at the Koussevitzky International Conducting Competition. In 2021, he will serve as an assistant to Vladimir Jurowski at a performance of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra. After conducting the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and the Armenian National Symphony Orchestra, he will make his Japanese debut at the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra's regular concert in July 2022. He will then perform with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, Gunma Symphony Orchestra, Kobe Chamber Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, and Osaka Symphony Orchestra, and is scheduled to make his debut with orchestras across Japan in the future. He has been appointed assistant conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège for one year from September 7. Born in Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Kwansei Gakuin University, he graduated from the Tokyo College of Music with a major in composition and conducting (conducting). In March 2024, he completed his master's degree at the Berlin Orchestra Conducting Department of the Hanns Eisler University of Music. He studied conducting under Junichi Hirokami, Toshifumi Tashiro, Masanori Mikawa, Tatsuya Shimono, and Christian Ewald, and opera conducting under Hans-Dieter Baum. He was also invited through auditions to master classes with Neeme, Paavo, Christian Järvi, Donald Runnicles, Johannes Schläfli, Michiyoshi Inoue, and Ryusuke Numajiri, and received guidance from them.

Kazusae Sagawa (piano)

Born in Shiki, Saitama Prefecture in 1998. Graduated from Tokyo College of Music and its master's course at the top of her class. Semi-finalist at the 2024th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in 12. 2023st place at the 21st Tokyo Music Competition in 1, 2021nd place at the 90th Japan Music Competition in 2, and 4nd place at the 2th Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition (the highest ranking for a Japanese player) and Audience Award. At the 2018th Kirishima International Music Festival in 39, she won the Kirishima International Music Festival Award on the recommendation of Eliso Virsaladze. She also won the IMA Music Award at Ishikawa Music Academy 2024. She won the Most Promising Award at Villa Sandra Piano Academy (Italy), and has studied at Chetham's International Piano Summer School (UK), Hamamatsu International Piano Academy, and other institutions. She also studied at Moscow Conservatory (Russia) as a short-term student of Tokyo College of Music. He was selected to perform at the Tiara Koto Regular Concert hosted by the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and has been well-received, and has also performed with major Japanese orchestras such as the New Japan Philharmonic, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. He has appeared on NHK-FM's "Recital Passio" and NHK BS Premium's "Classic Club". He has studied under Katsunori Ishii, Masataka Takada, Elisso Virsaladze, the late Minoru Nojima, Gabor Farkás, Seiko Ezawa, Mizuho Nakata, and Fusako Hirabayashi. He is currently enrolled in the master's program at the Hanns Eisler University of Music Berlin, studying under Eldar Nebolsin. He is a ROHM Music Foundation scholarship recipient for 2024 and 25.
