Theater Orchestra Tokyo (Orchestra)

The orchestra was formed in 2005 as an orchestra whose main activities are in "theaters," mainly ballet. In the same year, their performance at the K Ballet Company's "The Nutcracker" was highly praised from all quarters, and since 2006, they have been performing at all performances. In January 2007, Kazuo Fukuda was appointed as the music director. In April 1, the orchestra released their first CD, "Tetsuya Kumakawa's Nutcracker." Their deep understanding of theater music and ambitious efforts have always attracted attention, and they have performed in Japan with the Vienna State Ballet, the Paris Opera Ballet, and the St. Petersburg Ballet, as well as ballet performances both in Japan and overseas, such as the Japan Ballet Association, as well as opera performances, concerts, chamber music, etc., such as Shigeaki Saegusa's "Lamentation," "Jr. Butterfly," "All 2009 Mozart Symphonies Concert," TV Asahi's "Anything! Classic," "The World as a Whole Classic," Tetsuya Kumakawa's "Dance," and "Hiroshi Aoshima's Ballet Music is Wonderful!"
