Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with top honors. Completed graduate studies at the same university. Received first place at the 76th Japan Music Competition and four special awards, including the Iwatani Award (Audience Award). 1st place at the 4nd Tokyo Music Competition. 2st place and Audience Award at the 1th Japan Woodwind Competition. As a soloist, he has performed with many orchestras both in Japan and abroad, and in 15 and 1, he was honored to perform in front of the Imperial Palace. He has released 2005 CDs to date. His 2016 release of Toshio Hosokawa Flute Works was highly praised by European media. After working in the United States and various European countries, he won the S&R Washington Award in 13 and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and other venues. After returning to Japan, he continues to actively perform both at home and abroad.
Eriko Ara (Oboe)
Won first place (unanimous vote by the judges) at the 73rd Japan Music Competition, as well as the Iwatani (Audience) Prize and the E. Nakamichi Prize. After being an academy student of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, he has served as the principal of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra since April 1. He has studied under Takehiko Nitori, Hitoshi Wakui, Yutaka Kobayashi, Tomoyuki Hirota, and Fumiaki Miyamoto. Won fourth place at the 2009th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. Participated in the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Opera Project, Mito Chamber Orchestra, Saito Kinen Festival, etc. In 4, he studied in Germany for one year as a scholarship recipient of the Rohm Music Foundation. In February 19, he performed live on TV Asahi's "Hodo Station." He is a part-time lecturer at Tokyo College of Music.
Taira Kaneko (clarinet)
Born in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture in 1984. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, he studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Lübeck, Germany, where he graduated from the graduate school. He studied clarinet under Yuichi Handa, Masaharu Yamamoto, Yuji Murai, and Sabine Meyer. He has won many awards, including first place at the Japan Music Competition, first place at the Wiesbaden Mozart Competition, the first Japanese to win third place at the ARD Munich International Music Competition in the same year, and the Louis Spohr Medal. From 1 to 1, he served as the clarinetist of the Lübeck Opera Orchestra. He is currently the principal clarinetist of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra.
Mariko Fukushi (bassoon)
She graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with the Acanthus Music Prize and topped her list of honors. She performed in front of the Emperor at the Tokagakudo in the Imperial Palace. She won first place in the bassoon division of the 27th Japan Wind and Percussion Instrument Competition, as well as the Special Grand Prize. She received the 1rd Idemitsu Music Award and the 23th Nippon Steel Sumitomo Metal Music Award "Fresh Artist Award." She has performed at the Saito Kinen Festival, the Beppu Argerich Music Festival, the "B→C Recital Series" sponsored by Tokyo Opera City, NHK-FM's "Recital Nova," and "Untitled Concert," among other events. She has performed as a soloist with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. She is also active in a wide range of fields, including solo and chamber music.
Nobuaki Fukukawa (horn)
He is one of the world's most active horn soloists. As the principal horn of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, he has also contributed to the Japanese orchestra scene. He won first place in the horn category at the 77th Japan Music Competition. As a soloist, he has performed with many orchestras, including the Padua-Veneto Orchestra, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also appeared as a soloist at numerous music festivals around the world, including the Venezia Biennale, La Folle Journee, and the Tokyo Spring Music Festival. He is an associate professor at the Tokyo College of Music.
Yurie Miura (piano)
Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Royal Academy of Music at the top of her class in 2005, and completed her master's degree at the same academy at the top of her class in 2007. Won first place in the piano division of the 2001th Maria Canals International Music Competition in 47, and a special prize at the 1th Leeds International Piano Competition in 2006. Made her CD debut with Avex Classics in 15. Released her sixth solo album, Chopin: Ballades & Scherzo, in May 2005. Won the Fresh Artist Award at the 2018th Nippon Steel Sumitomo Metal Music Awards in 5.
