Aprico Song Afternoon Concert Vol.8 Takemura Mami & Tsukamoto Masami "Two voices, two sounds"

Two people selected through auditions will pair up to perform. This time, it will be two sopranos. The first half will feature pieces with the same lyrics but written by different composers, as well as soprano duets, while the second half will feature opera arias that bring out the individuality of each singer. We have prepared a wide variety of works, and we look forward to seeing you there.

Profile

Mami Takemura (soprano)

Born in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. After majoring in German literature at Meiji University's Faculty of Literature, she graduated from Tokyo College of Music's Faculty of Music, Department of Music, Vocal Music Major (vocal performer course) with honors. She performed at the 84th Yomiuri Newcomer Concert. She completed the New National Theatre Opera Training Center. While enrolled at the training center, she underwent short-term training at the Milan La Scala Training Center. She also received an ANA scholarship and underwent short-term training at the Bavarian State Opera Training Center. She won third place and the Hotta Gakufu Award at the 7th Nikko International Music Festival Vocal Competition. She was selected for the vocal division of the 3nd Ibra Grand Award Japan 2. She won first place, the Grand Prix Award, and the Mainichi Shimbun Award in the vocal division of the 2022th Japan Performers Competition, College Student Division. She was selected for the 15th Italian Vocal Concorso, Milan Division. She is a member of the Keiseikai Association. She is a director of the Itabashi Ward Performers Association. Her YouTube channel "Takemura Mami's "C'est la vie!" is currently streaming.

Masami Tsukamoto (soprano)

Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae and completed her master's course at the same university. After completing graduate school, she furthered her studies in Florence. While studying abroad, she won second place at the 3rd Arturo Toscanini International Vocal Competition in Brescia. At the end of the 2nd master class at the Nikikai Opera Training Center, she won the Encouragement Award and the Excellence Award. She won third place in the vocal category at the 62th Kanagawa Music Competition. She participated as Madame Butterfly in the Nikikai performance of Madame Butterfly and as an understudy for Liu in Turandot hosted by Kanagawa Prefectural Hall. She appeared in the "Fresh Masterpieces New Year's Concert Opera Masterpieces" conducted by A. Battistoni and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. She has appeared in the role of Romilda in "Serse" by Nikikai New Wave Opera Theatre, the role of Berenice in "A Thief of Chance" by BOF in Japan 38 Master Class, the role of Rosalinde in "Die Fledermaus" by Vivid Opera Tokyo, the role of Liu in "Turandot" by Ichibanboshi Opera, and "The Overcoat" by Puccini opera festival at Torre del Lago in Italy. She is a member of Nikikai.

Seika Kison (piano)

After majoring in piano in the Department of Instrumental Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, he completed a master's degree at the same graduate school. Upon her completion, she received the Geidai Clavier Award. She studied in Germany and France and completed the soloist course at the Berlin University of the Arts and the concertist course at the Paris Schola Cantorum Conservatory with unanimous honors. She has studied piano with Chie Kiuchi, Jun Kawachi, Setsuko Ichikawa, Megumi Ito, Philippe Entremont, and Björn Lehmann, and song performance with Eric Schneider, Axel Bauni, and Mitsuko Shirai. She is currently a part-time lecturer in the Department of Vocal Music, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.
