Miho Suzuki

Profile

He won first place at the 2021 S. Richter International Piano Competition (Korea). He also won first place at the 2023 Elevate International Piano Competition (Portugal). He was a semi-finalist at the 48th PTNA Piano Competition Special Class National Final. He won the Excellence Award and the Hamano Yoshio Award at the 11th Sengawa Piano Audition, produced by Takako Takahashi, and the Shimoda Koji Award at the 6th Sengawa Piano Audition. He has also won first place at the 7th Design K Piano Competition, among other awards. He appeared on NHK-FM's "Recital Passio" in 2020. He has performed as a soloist with the Aichi Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Daisuke Soga, and the Nagoya Chamber Orchestra, among others. He has been invited to perform in Vienna and has appeared in numerous concerts across Japan. He graduated with honors from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music and received the Kuwahara Award. He also completed his graduate school at the top of his class and received the university's scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. He studied under Kenichiro Suzuki, Shohei Sekimoto, and Koji Shimoda. He is a scholarship recipient of the Aoyama Music Foundation and the Sadao Yamada Music Foundation. He is a research grant recipient of the Nitto Academic Foundation. He is also a supporter of the Gyomu Super Japan Dream Foundation for overseas study. He is a judge for the Japan Classical Music Competition.
