Takuro Suzuki (Choreography, Composition, Direction, Performance)
Founder of the dance company CHAiroiPLIN. Member of Condors. Choreographer, director, and dancer. Born in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture. Attended Toho Gakuen College of Arts, where Yukio Ninagawa was president at the time, and studied the fundamentals of theater, pantomime, and dance. Choreographed and appeared in NHK E-tele's "Miitsuketa!". Choreographed for numerous productions including "Touken Ranbu," "Bungo Stray Dogs," works by Keralino Sandrovich, Hanazono Shrine Outdoor Theater, Nissay Theatre, and Hakataza. Appeared on Kohaku Uta Gassen and FNS Music Festival, and made guest appearances with artists such as Philippe Decouflé. First-generation member of Saitama Next Theatre. Recipient of the 2019 Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Newcomer Award. Also received the Yokohama Dance Collection EX Encouragement Award, 1st place in the Setagaya Ward Arts Award Hisho Stage Arts category, and the 46th Dance Critics Association Newcomer Award. Numerous other awards including the 9th Japan Dance Forum Award and the Young Directors Competition 2013 Grand Prize. Part-time lecturer at the International Cultural Academy. East Asian Cultural Exchange Ambassador for 2015. Enjoys eccentric fashion and Charlie Chaplin.
Okuda Satoshi (Appearance)
She majored in oil painting at the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School, earning a Master of Arts degree. She has been a member of Condors since 1999, and is also in charge of the video in their works. She has appeared in Noda Map's "Piper," Tetsu Maeda's "And Then the Baton Was Passed," Yoji Yamada's "What a Wonderful Family! 2," and Jerome Bel's "Gala." At goen°, she has been in charge of artwork for Mr.Children, among others. She is also involved in disability expression at the Chiba Art Brut Center "Uminomori." She is currently working on her third picture book, "ISLAND."
Sou Aoi (performer)
From a young age, she belonged to a children's musical theater troupe and an action team. In addition, her activities are diverse, including live performances as a vocal duo and solo artist, and CD releases. Currently, she is active as an actress. Her major recent appearances include Hakataza's 25th anniversary production "Shinsei! Nekketsu Brass Band Girl," CHAiroiPLIN's Dancing Shakespeare "BALLO ~Romeo and Juliet~," Genre Cross I <Ryohei Kondo with Keishi Nagatsuka> "Shinsekai," THE☆JACABAL'S "Sanada Mokushiroku," Meijiza's "Yomigaeru Meijiza Tokyo Kigeki," XFLAG PARK 2020 "Peach Boyz," and the Indeed commercial "Aquarium." She joined CHAiroiPLIN in 2022.
Yukari Inaba (Appearance)
From the age of four, she studied at the Sasaki Mika Ballet Academy under Sasaki Mika, Ikehata Mikio, and Kamata Asuka. She studied contemporary dance under Minagawa Mayumu, Hirata Keiko, and Kumagai Takuaki. Recent appearances include the role of Marie in the dance play "Marie's Dream" (directed and choreographed by Kumagai Takuaki) at the Kanagawa Prefectural Hall Open Theater 2023, the music video for Tsukasa Inoue's "Wish" (choreographed by Minagawa Mayumu), and "CAT-A-TAC's Asobiba Theater," among others.
Lara Kobayashi (appearing)
She began classical ballet at the age of three and has appeared in various ballet performances since childhood. While in high school, she was active as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre x Saburo Teshigawara U18 group. Since then, she has participated in works by Ryohei Kondo, Yukio Suzuki, Naoya Aoki, and others. Her recent major activities include working as a choreography assistant for Toho Musicals and PARCO Stage, choreographing KADOKAWA's "The Forest Where the Rain Falls," and appearing in the ending theme song "Saa!" for NHK E Tele's "Miitsuketa!". She joined CHAiroiPLIN in 2020.
Yusaku Torigoe (Cast)
He joined the theater company Tsubaki-gumi in 2005. Since then, he has appeared in the outdoor play performed every summer at Hanazono Shrine in Shinjuku. Recent appearances include "Tange Sazen '23", "Summer Festival: Hananoi Elegy", and "The Little You Hidden on My Shoulder". In addition to appearing as an actor in theater companies such as Sajiki Douji and Charity T Planning, he has recently been participating as a dramaturg in dance works by companies such as CHAiroiPLIN and Bushman.
Naoya Yamashita (Cast)
He joined Ryuzanji Office in 2008. His major appearances in the company's productions include "Sotoba Komachi," "Death in the Countryside," "The Bengal Tiger," "OKINAWA Two-Part Series 1945⇔1972," "Carnival from the Forest," and "Flowing Blood, Warmly." He also founded his own unit, "Yamagaoku," and has appeared in "Twilight Waltz," "The Signatory," and "Edaniku." As a director, he has staged the play "Betting on the Night," based on a novel by Yang Seok-il.
Yuri Shimizu (Music/Performance)
She has been familiar with music since childhood. She composed a song for the play at her graduation performance in the Department of Drama at Toho Gakuen College of Music, and subsequently began composing for the accordion. In CHAiroiPLIN, she is in charge of music as well as performing, writing lyrics and composing songs for the plays, and performing while playing the accordion. She also handles vocal accompaniment and theatrical music for production announcements. She composed music and appeared in the "Ukiuki no Ki" segment of the NHK E-tele program "Miitsuketa!". She has been involved with CHAiroiPLIN since its inception in 2007.
