Exhibited works

In the first term of 2021, we will introduce Yoshie Nakada, a painter living in Ota Ward.Nakata studied under Narashige Koide, a Western-style painter, when he lived in Ashiya, and was greatly influenced by Koide in his style.We will exhibit pictures of nude women reminiscent of Koide's brush strokes and composition, as well as attractive line drawings.

In the second term of 2021, we will introduce Eitaro Genda, a painter living in Ota Ward.Eitaro Genda is a Western-style painter who studied under Takeji Fujishima, Conrad Meili, and Ikuma Arishima, and was also active as the chairman of the Ichimizukai, Japan Fine Arts Exhibition, and the Ota Ward Artist Association.He went to Gion in Kyoto and continued to draw the charm of Maiko, a traditional Japanese beauty.The gloss of the oil-painted screen further accentuates the smoothness of the drawn maiko.Please take a look at the gorgeous flowers drawn by Genda.
