This exhibition will feature paintings with a water motif. Because water is transparent, it allows the viewer to see what is trapped within it, and also reflects the scenery and light of the external environment. It sways and changes shape in response to subtle stimuli as it flows downwards. In Anzai Keimei's "Suikin," the flowing water is carefully depicted as thin white folds. In addition, a total of four paintings will be exhibited, including Matsui Sokyu's "Koi" (year of production unknown).

Still life paintings, which are created by placing stationary objects on a table, are a subject that many artists have tackled because they can be easily painted indoors. In this exhibition, you can see works such as Nakata Yoshie's Desert Rose (1983), which depicts a world of images spreading from a tabletop, and Enokura Shogo's Rose, which depicts a plant that still emits a secret energy even after being cut off from its roots.

This exhibition will introduce portraits that focus on people that artists encounter in their daily lives. You can see works such as Fumio Ninomiya's "Woman in Snow Country" (1996), which depicts a melancholic woman, and Keimei Anzai's "Pillow" (1939), which depicts a child lying on the edge of the painting.
