Matinee Wokaku was born as the contemporary art division of the OTA Art Project, which focuses on local people, things, and events as cultural resources.
As an art project aimed at creating new landscapes by installing art in public spaces, we held exhibitions and performances in the streets of Ota Ward. A total of five events were held over four years, from "Light of Water and Wind" at Senzokuike Park in 2020 to "Mobilescape of Light and Wind" at Denenchofu Seseragi Park in 2023. All of these projects follow the purpose of the OTA Art Project and make use of artists based in Ota Ward, the history of Ota Ward, and the location.
This record was created to publicize and commemorate this new art initiative in Ota Ward.
