Performance information
The Aoyama Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1989 by graduates of the Tokyo Metropolitan Aoyama High School "Aoyama Philharmonic Orchestra" (Ao-Phil) with the aim of pursuing high artistic quality and promoting intergenerational exchange. Since then, the orchestra has focused on holding regular concerts once a year, and is now celebrating its 33rd anniversary.
This time, we will be performing works by three great composers from the Romantic period, including Schumann's Manfred Overture, the neoclassical Brahms Tragic Overture, and the National School Dvorak Symphony No. 7.
