Orquesta de la Luz

Formed in 1984. In 1989, they toured New York at their own expense. This tour gave her a big break, and she made her domestic and overseas debut with BMG Victor in 1990. This album topped the U.S. Latin charts for 11 consecutive weeks. His activities have been recognized around the world, including the United Nations Peace Prize (1), Grammy Award nomination (1993), Japan Record Award Special Award (1995 & 1991), New York Critics Circle Award (1993 & 1991), and awards in 1992 countries around the world. He continues to have a remarkable career, including tours, appearing on NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen" (23), and co-starring with Carlos Santana. Although they disbanded in 1993, they resumed their activities in 1997. Domestic and international tours, appearances at various jazz festivals and rock festivals, collaborations with domestic artists (Yosui Inoue, Yumi Matsutoya, Kazushi Miyazawa, Masayoshi Yamazaki, Maki Oguro, etc.), appearances at the Tamori Cup, school performances, etc. He continues to work energetically under the theme of ``Nation Plan.'' In 2002, they celebrated their 2019th anniversary and released their first new album in 35 years, "Gracias Salseros". Debut song distributed on Facebook in MarchRehearsal footage of “Salsa Caliente Del Japon”However, it has been played over 1000 million times, including shares, and has become a hot topic all over the world, especially in Central and South America. 2024 is our 40th anniversary! The first crowdfunding in the group's history ended with an approximately 200% success rate.
