We will be presenting a new rock ballet called "GENJI" based on the motif of "The Tale of Genji."

Japan's leading choreographers will perform alongside top ballet dancers.

The death of Hikaru Genji is not depicted in Murasaki Shikibu's The Tale of Genji.

It only contains the "Kumogakure" chapter, and not a single character is written in the main text.

The title alone is said to allude to the death of Hikaru Genji. The story spans a thousand years and is woven into a dance.
