Introduction of exhibition contents

In this exhibition, works by Reina Yabo that were exhibited in the latter part of the Ryushi Memorial Museum's collaborative project with the Takahashi Ryutaro Collection, "Ryuko Kawabata Plus One: Juri Hamada and Reina Yabo - Colors Dance and Resonate," held in 2023, are displayed in the Ryushi Memorial Museum and the studio of the former Ryushi Kawabata Residence. The special space of the memorial museum, which represents Ryushi's artistic vision, will be given new color by contemporary artists.

For his exhibition at the museum in 2023, Yaho will be working on his first residency at the museum, at the former Kawabata Ryushi residence and studio. In addition to displaying the work "Crawling," which was painted based on the impressions from that time, Yaho's works are also installed in the former Kawabata Ryushi residence to resonate with the space.
