Journalist Tokutomi Soho places the Tokugawa Shogunate vassal Katsu Kaishu as the greatest hero of the Meiji Restoration, and also mentions Oguri Kozukenosuke, a shogunate vassal who was active at the same time as Kaishu.忠順TadamasaHe was praised as a figure on a par with Kaishu. This time, we will introduce the two figures as seen by Soho.
