Aprico Lunchtime Piano Concert Performer Audition (2026 Performers)

The "Aprico Lunchtime Piano Concert" was started with the aim of providing a venue for local residents to enjoy and for people studying piano at music universities to perform. To date, over 70 young pianists have performed, many of whom have gone on to become successful pianists, graduating from Aprico as "future pianists."
Starting in 2, we have been holding auditions to provide more young pianists with the opportunity to perform. Please take advantage of this opportunity to gain practical experience as a pianist on the stage of Ota Civic Hall Aprico Large Hall. The second practical examination will be open to the public.

Regarding the cost
  • Please note that travel and accommodation expenses for auditions (including arranging an accompanying pianist), meetings, rehearsals, performances, etc. must be borne by the individual.
  • If you appear in the 2026 performance, you will be paid after the performance ends.

First selection: Video (confidential) screening

Document requirements

Video Screening Guidelines

[Video footage must be recorded with the following content]

  1. The video must show the applicant performing.
  2. Solo pieces only (concertos, chamber music performances, etc. are not accepted).
  3. All performances are done from memory.
  4. The performance duration should be approximately 15 minutes (if there are multiple songs, please include tracks).
  5. Performance recordings must be from within the past two years (2 or later).
Points to note Please make sure there are no audio disturbances in the video before uploading it.

Second selection: Practical (open) examination

Practical Examination Contents
  • Please prepare a solo program of about 50 minutes, from which the judges will selectSelect the songs to be performed on the dayTo do.

Important Notices Regarding Selection

  • If there are any missing or significant deficiencies in the information entered in the application form, your application may not be accepted. Please check the information before submitting it.
1st and 2nd Practical Exams
