We will create an original opera (approximately 30 minutes) based on the motif of "Hansel and Gretel"!
Director Naaya Miura will be providing fun and energetic instruction on dance, lines and expression. In addition, popular opera singers Toru Onuma and Ena Miyaji will be working with the children to liven up the stage.

2023 implementation
Graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Mainly active as an opera director, assistant director and choreographer. As a director, he has directed a variety of productions, including Hamamatsu City Opera's "Kaguya," Gruppo Nori opera's "Gianni Schicchi/The Overcoat," and Tokorozawa Opera's "Don Giovanni." He also launched the opera group "NEOLOGISM," which seeks new forms of expression, and is actively involved in staging operas with his own Japanese translations. As an assistant director, he has been involved in many productions sponsored by the Japan Opera Foundation, Nissay Theatre, and others. Drawing on his experience in dance, he is often in charge of choreography.
Graduated from Tokai University and completed his graduate studies at the same university. He furthered his studies at Humboldt University. In opera, he has received high acclaim for his roles as Count Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro with the Nikikai Society, Belcore in L'Elisir d'Amore with the New National Theatre, Don Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte with the Nissay Theatre, Jokanaan in Salome with the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra and Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, and the title role in Macbeth with the Nissay Theatre. He has also been active in concert as a soloist in the Japan premiere of the Ninth Symphony and Zimmermann's Requiem for a Young Poet. He has also received high acclaim for his German song repertoire, such as Winterreise. He is a lecturer at Tokai University and Kunitachi College of Music. He is a member of the Nikikai Society.
After graduating from the Kunitachi College of Music Graduate School, she went to Europe. In opera, she received rave reviews for her performance as Susanna in the Nikikai's "The Marriage of Figaro," and has also played the Queen of the Night in the New National Theatre Opera Appreciation Class's "The Magic Flute," Micaela in the Nikikai's "Carmen," and Sophie in the Taiwan Philharmonic's "Der Rosenkavalier." She has also performed as a soloist in concerts such as the "Ninth Symphony," Mozart and Faure's "Requiem," and Grieg's "Solveig's Song." In April of this year, she was invited back to Taiwan to perform as a soloist in "Mahler's Symphony No. 4" conducted by Jun Märkl. Her pure and beautiful singing has been highly praised. She is a member of the Nikikai.
Graduated from the Vocal Music Department of the Kunitachi College of Music. While still a student, she aspired to become an opera répétitor (vocal coach), and after graduation, she began her career at the Nikikai, and in 12, she furthered her studies at the Vienna Pleiner Conservatory. She has been active in a wide range of fields, including as a pianist performing with famous vocalists, and in media and commercials. Since 2019, she has been involved as a producer and répétit for the Ota Ward Cultural Promotion Association's Aprico Opera, leading the operetta "Die Fledermaus" to success in August XNUMX, and has earned high praise and trust. She is currently a pianist at the Nikikai, an assistant accompanist at the Kunitachi College of Music and Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, and a lecturer in the childcare department at Hosen Gakuen.
