OTA Art Project Magome Writers Village Fantasy Theater Festival 2023 Screenings & Theater Performances

``Magome Writers Village Imaginary Theater Festival 2023'' is an online distribution project that introduces the works of modern literary writers who once lived in ``Magome Writers Village'' in combination with performing arts and videos.Two video works produced this year will be screened prior to distribution.Furthermore, from last year's video work, ``Chiyo and Seiji'' will be performed as a stage performance.

Art director of Magome Writers Village Imaginary Theater Festival.Born in Tokyo.he is a playwrightHe presides over the theater company Yamanote Jijosha.He formed a theater company while he was a student at Waseda University, and has been acclaimed both in Japan and abroad as a director of a theater company that represents contemporary Japanese theater. In 2013 he received the “Special Achievement Award” from the Sibiu International Theater Festival in Romania.He also serves as a lecturer at various workshops, and is also focusing on the use of ``theatrical education'' as ``multifaceted hints to make yourself attractive'' in the general public. In 2018, he published “How to Make Yourself Attractive” (Kodansha Sensho Metier).

Formed in 1984 based on the Waseda University Theater Study Group.Since then, he has consistently pursued “things that only theater can do” and developed experimental plays. In 1993 and 1994, they participated in the Shimomaruko [Theater] Festa, and developed as a performing arts group representing contemporary theater. Since 1997, he has been working on a performance style called "Yojohan" that expresses modern people with restricted movements, and in recent years there have been many performances overseas. Kitamari

Dance company KIKIKIKIKIKI was formed in 2003 as a creative outlet for Kitamari while she was studying at the Department of Film and Performing Arts at Kyoto University of Art and Design.Since then, he has performed many works both domestically and internationally. In 2018, the company transitioned to a project unit where members gather fluidly for each creation.In recent years, he has created a project to choreograph the complete symphonies of composer Gustav Mahler, and in 2021 he has started a series of dance versions of plays by playwright Shogo Ota, and has a wide range of projects that transcend genres while dealing with expressions from dance and other fields.
