The Ota Ward Cultural Promotion Association has been conducting a three-year opera project since 2019.
In the second year, we will focus on <vocal music>, which is also the main axis of opera, and improve singing skills.We will also challenge the original languages ​​of each opera (Italian, French, German).The performance will be sung with the sound of the orchestra in the Aplico Grand Hall with popular opera singers.
We are looking forward to the participation of those who want to enjoy the world of opera more deeply.

TOKYO OTA OPERA PROJECT + @ HOME

"TOKYO OTA OPERA PROJECT + @ HOME" is an opera project tailored to a new lifestyle.
The performance was postponed to 2021 to prevent new coronavirus infection, but online courses (12 times in total) were held for chorus members.
In addition, from the desire to deliver beautiful opera arias to everyone through video, we will deliver an opera (petit) gala concert with the cooperation of two soloists and pianists who were scheduled to appear this year.

How did the opera begin and how did it develop?
This is a course where you can gain new knowledge of "opera" and "art" by delving into European culture and Viennese culture, which originated from operettas.
