Aprico Uta Afternoon Concert
(Formerly Night Concert)

Purpose of the performance

In 2023, Ota Civic Hall Aprico will celebrate its 25th anniversary and launch a new program to support young artists, the Aprico Song Night Concert. From 2025, it will be relaunched as the Aprico Song Afternoon Concert, which can be enjoyed at your leisure during the weekday afternoon. Two young vocalists will appear as performers, conveying the charm of a variety of songs, including solos, duets, opera arias, and ensembles. The performance will last 2 minutes, including a break.

Selection of performers

In order to provide an opportunity for young vocalists to gain practical experience, we will hold "performer auditions" and those selected through a rigorous screening process will appear.
The audition judges were vocalists Taro Ichihara and Yukiko Yamaguchi, and pianist and répétiteur Takashi Yoshida.
